The Facilities team advised that the Fire System Lift Double Knock system will be tested on Wednesday 1st of June 2022 from 10 in the morning. They will start at Core A and each test will last about 15 minutes.
If you are asking yourself what is a double knock?
It’s in the case of a fire emergency, alarms will be sounding, lifts will shut down and move to ground floor. Residents must ensure that they have their fire escape key available to access the fire escape, as this will be the only way to enter and exit your unit during the test.
With your help and understanding, we can get the testing done with as little as possible discomfort to residents. We would like to thank you in advance for your patience and understanding.
Please note one of the services that our Concierge offer is a Key Register where Residents can keep a key to their apartment or fire escape at the Concierge office. There are strict procedures in place to keep your key safe and that it may only be issued to specified people for example; Domestic workers, Family Members, and Body Corporate Staff on your request.
